By now I’m sure you’re all used to not hearing from me. There’s a good reason: this weekend begins the go-live transition from our old Vantage ERP to QAD Enterpise Edition, the end of nine months of hard work.

But first comes final data conversion, lots of data entry, problem-solving, saving-it-for-later-because-we-don’t-have-any-more-time, last minute configuration changes, fear & loathing, oh-my-god user panic and then, finally, the blissful oblivion of complete exhaustion.

I’ll tell you about the journey soon … but for now, back to work!
